VOLUME VI
Saving People: A Race Against Time Before the Blood Runs
Did you come here all the way from Volume I, Despair, walking in panic?
Then stop for a moment.
Do not rush to read the arguments below. Here are a few words to place in your hands first.
First: You are still here.
No matter where that fire in Volume I burned you: whether it burned your livelihood, burned the craft of your half-lifetime, or burned your hope for tomorrow, there is one thing it could not burn. You, the person, are still here.
No job, no paycheck, is more important than you yourself. Losing your work is not losing yourself. An occupation is merely a position where you once stood. You, as a human being, are far larger, far longer-lasting, and far more precious than that position. The position collapsed, but the person remains. As long as the person remains, there will always be a place to stand.
Second: This is not your fault.
You were not lazy, you were not lacking ambition, and you did not fail to keep up with the times. It is the mechanism beneath the surface of this world that has turned to this exact step. Tens of millions, hundreds of millions of people are being pushed alongside you by this very same mechanism. It is not that you alone failed; it is that this entire system has gone awry.
So do not curse yourself in your heart. Blaming yourself is taking someone else's bill and putting it on your own tab.
Third: There is a way out of this situation.
This volume you are reading now does exactly one thing from start to finish: it lays out the exits for you, one by one.
It is not here to offer hollow comfort, to coax you, or to tell you to endure. It is here to tell you solidly how this system can be unlocked, how people can be saved, and how the path forward is walked.
Fourth: If right now, that obstacle in your heart feels truly insurmountable.
Please close this book first. Find someone you trust and speak what is in your heart out loud. Once spoken, you are no longer carrying it alone. If that weight in your heart is so heavy that you have thought of harming yourself, please immediately contact your local mental health hotline, someone on the other end will answer. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
The book will always be here whenever you return to read it. You are what matters most.
Now then. If you are still willing to walk forward, let us walk together.
The title of this volume is Saving People: A Race Against Time Before the Blood Runs.
Every single word here is written in earnest.
Saving people means saving you, saving those who have been burned by that same fire, and saving those who have not yet been burned but toward whom the fire will eventually spread.
Race against time before the blood runs, because while the fire is already burning, the blood has not yet run into rivers. Before it reaches that point, we must pull people out, one by one.
A race against time, because this matter cannot wait.
So, what you likely want to know most is this single question: How can I be saved right now?
Here is the direct answer.
If at this moment you have already been burned by that fire, if you have lost your job, lost your post, and the household bills are on the verge of collapsing, what you need most urgently is how to catch your breath right now. If so, please turn directly to Chapter 1 of this volume, How to Put Out the Fire.
Chapter 1 does not speak grand theories, nor does it take long detours. It is first aid. It tells you directly: when the fire is on your body, what to do first, what to do second, how to secure yourself and your family first, and how to find a foothold in this wave of collapse to stand firm.
Stand firm first. Only after you are standing can we talk about what comes next. This chapter is written for those currently in the fire.
If at this moment you have not yet been burned, but your heart is filled with panic as you watch those around you getting laid off and replaced one by one, knowing it will eventually be your turn, then you too should start from Chapter 1. Keep those emergency measures in mind first, then continue on to Chapters 2, 3, 4, and 5. Because you still have time, you can look clearly at what this entire situation is about and how it can be resolved. Once you see it clearly, you will no longer panic. Panic usually comes from not seeing clearly; once you see clearly, your mind settles.
If you are a teacher, a parent, a worker, a manager, a writer, or someone with a bit of strength left who wants to do something for others, then this entire volume is for you. Chapter 1 teaches you how to save the person right in front of you, while Chapters 2 through 5 tell you what lies beneath this system, how the four major institutions move in unison, and how to fundamentally stop this fire from burning the next generation.
Why can this volume claim that it can save people?
Because it does not shout slogans; it unlocks this system from the bottom up, layer by layer.
To be entirely candid with you upfront: this volume does not attack anyone.
It does not attack AI, it does not smash machines, and it does not call to ban them. Because smashing a machine cannot save a single human being; that tool itself was never the thing that harmed people.
Nor does it attack those who seem like they ought to be attacked. No denouncements, no struggles, no liquidations. Because from the very first page, this book established an unshakeable rule: there are no villains, only locks that must be opened and the people who are locked inside. Those whom you think you ought to hate are mostly locked up themselves, forced, swept along, and having their consciences eroded. Overthrow one of them, and the lock remains; the next person will simply be swept in all the same to continue causing harm.
This book uses a pen, not a sword. It saves people; it does not attack people.
How does it save? It goes to unlock.
Find each lock one by one and open it; release each locked person from the mechanism. Once the lock is open, the person relaxes naturally; once the people relax, the world corrects itself.
This is the very first time in thousands of years that anyone has done it this way. For thousands of years, whenever people faced injustice, all they thought about was whom to overthrow, whom to eradicate, and whom to replace them with. Dynasty after dynasty changed, yet those locks never moved an inch. This time, we do not attack people; we open the locks.
How does this volume save? It is divided into five successive echelons, one after another.
These five echelons form the five chapters of this volume.
Chapter 1, How to Put Out the Fire. This is first aid.
Pull out those who are already on fire first. This chapter skips theory and long detours; it charges straight into the fire to catch, settle, and find a foothold for those who are losing jobs, losing homes, and lying awake in panic. Let them stand firm first and catch their breath.
This is the most urgent chapter and the starting point of this entire volume. If you are in the fire right now, start reading from this chapter.
Chapter 2, A New Order for Culture. This is the first measure from beneath the cauldron: warming the heart.
Why did the fire burn to this extent? Because deep in human hearts, something has long been missing. This chapter is about how to nurture that missing piece back to life.
Moral education remedies the root disease of petty obstruction; establish schools as places that settle people down and warm their hearts; from a young age, cultivate in every person a heart that sees others, protects others, and refuses to inflict petty obstruction.
When the heart grows warm again, human interactions are no longer cat-and-mouse games or tool-to-tool transactions, but real humans facing real humans. What this chapter saves is that most fragile element in the human heart that is easily ground away by this world.
Chapter 3, A New Order for the Economy. This is the second measure from beneath the cauldron: pulling the fuel.
At the end of the day, what is the thing you fear most? It is not that work is taken over by machines, but that once the work is taken over, I can no longer survive.
This chapter tells you about a monumental event occurring for the first time in human history: for the first time, goods are sufficient. Production capacity has enlarged the pie; grain is so abundant it rots in granaries, and goods are manufactured cheaper than cabbage. There is enough for everyone.
Since there is enough, that old chain welding survival strictly to holding a job must be loosened. Non-labor income belongs to the public: the vast yield generated automatically by machines and AI belongs to everyone under heaven, falling piece by piece into the hands of every living person.
Once that chain is loosened, machines taking over your grueling labor transforms from a disaster back into what it was always meant to be: a good thing. You no longer need to do a job you thoroughly hate just for a meal. You can pick something you are genuinely willing to do.
What this chapter saves is the foundation upon which you survive.
Chapter 4, A New Order for Politics. This is defusing the bomb.
What was a government originally supposed to be? An administrative machine hired with public funds to protect the people. The people are the owners; the government is the steward. It ought to protect your freedom, your life, your home, and your ability to live and work in peace.
Yet it became twisted by a lock: collusion between officials and commercial interests. For thousands of years, this lock has driven dynasties to rise and fall, independent of anyone's will. It bites at your money, bites at your family, subjects you to petty obstruction at the service window, usurps administrative power into law enforcement, and spawns hidden slush funds everywhere.
What this chapter aims to do is wrench that machine back to its original position, rescuing the crowd trapped inside that lock whose consciences are being ruined by it. What this chapter saves is your ability to hold your head high as a human being when getting things done, without forced smiles, without swallowing anger, and without being run in circles.
Chapter 5, A New Order for Law. This is building the dam.
The original intent of the law is to protect the people. Just this one thing. Measuring any law or any verdict requires only one ruler: did it protect the people or not?
Yet in reality, the representatives of the law, those who legislate, judge, lecture, and enforce, often see only the literal text and ignore the living human being beneath it. Without drawing a blade or shedding blood, they use procedures, articles, and phrases like "in compliance" to legally, lukewarmly, and with full justification send a living person to their end. In legal killing, there is no murderer to be found.
What this chapter aims to do is re-establish the law as a living ruler that guides self-discipline, rather than an authoritarian power used to suppress people; to rescue those who cannot read its original intent; and to sever at its source the multi-millennial chain of legally harming the people.
What this chapter saves is your bottom line: even if you have nothing left, there is still a line of defense protecting you from being legally crushed.
Reading through these five chapters, you will realize one thing.
What this book protects from start to finish is each and every living human being.
It does not protect systems, it does not protect doctrines, and it does not protect prestigious titles. Systems and doctrines are merely means; the ultimate purpose is always whether each individual can live well and securely day by day.
And what does it mean to live well?
To have a place to stay: a room you can enter, sleep in, and grow old in. To have food to eat: three meals a day without anxiety over the next. To walk on steady ground: handling your affairs without being subjected to petty obstruction, suppressed, or legally stripped of what is yours. To be able to raise the next generation: children can study and have a way forward. To make it through the night: when the night is quiet, your heart is not in panic or pain, feeling that this day was not lived in vain. Between human beings, real people face real people: you protect me, and I protect you.
It is just that simple. That is the place where this entire volume finally alights after taking such a long journey.
Reaching this Sixth Volume, the preceding five volumes are complete, each having firmly established one foundation.
Volume I, Despair, establishes direction: there are no villains, only locks to be opened and people who are locked; use the pen, not the sword; save people, do not attack people.
Volume II, A New Order for Culture, establishes the heart: nurture the heart that protects people, cure petty obstruction, and cultivate virtue.
Volume III, A New Order for the Economy, establishes the foundation: enlarge the pie, assign non-labor income to the public, ensure goods are sufficient.
Volume IV, A New Order for Politics, establishes the machine: government possesses only administration, conceiving no law enforcement bodies.
Volume V, A New Order for Law, establishes the ruler: original intent protects the people, read the original intent rather than the literal text, law is a living ruler guiding self-discipline.
The first five volumes establish the principles. This Sixth Volume brings those principles down to earth, turning them into practical methods that can genuinely save people.
Beyond this volume lies the final volume: Volume VII, Hope Is in the Human World.
That volume will merge the four institutions into a single whole, explicitly clarifying where the newest force encountered by this generation, AI computing power, should be placed. It is merely a tool and cannot replace real human beings. While the preceding volumes save real people, Volume VII turns to save the tool that has been pushed into the position of a human.
That volume will also make clear where heaven on earth truly resides. In one sentence: heaven is on Earth, not Mars. This Earth, this human world, and these living human beings are what this book seeks to protect, save, and settle all along the way.
In the end, fundamentally not a single thing exists; let great love remain in the human world.
